Cheryl Hines is serving up some jaw-dropping gossip about her marriage to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Apparently, RFK Jr. thought faking a separation might be a clever way to improve Hines' flagging public image.

During an October 30 episode of Heather McDonald's podcast, Hines recounted, "When he said, ‘Well, we could fake a separation,’ he felt bad because nobody liked you anymore." Talk about a plot twist!

Hines, clearly not on board with the scheme, shot back, "Let’s not do that." It turns out, even in Hollywood, not every publicity stunt is a good idea.
