Producer and star Sarah Jessica Parker, is breaking records with the film version of her hit TV show, Sex and the City, making $55.7 million in it's opening weekend. The most ever made for an R-rated comedy.
Parker, 43, was pleasantly shocked with news telling PEOPLE,

Despite the massive fire that erupted early Sunday morning on the Universal Studios backlot, celebrities all came out for the 2008 MTV Movie Awards which were held at the Gibson Amphitheater adjacent to Universal Studios. As they say, the show must go on!

The sexy ladies of 'Sex And The City' all came out to Radio City Music Hall in NYC for the US premiere of their beloved film on Tuesday night.
Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker were all there, and looking fantastic while at it.

The pink carpet at the premiere really brought out the femininity in Kirstin Davis, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kim Cattrall.
The 'Sex and the City' gals all looked wonderful for the movie's German premiere on Thursday.
Thank God Sarah Jessica got a clue and removed that pineapple decoration from her head.
