The real-life horror story for Jennifer Hudson only gets worse. The body found this morning has been confirmed to be that of 7-year-old Julian King with a gunshot wound to the head.

The Chicago Police Department released a statement around noon:

“At approximately 7:06 A.M. a 1994 White Chevrolet Suburban bearing Illinois license plate X584859 and identified in the Amber Alert was located at 1313 S. Kolin. A body was discovered inside the Suburban, in the rear seat of the vehicle.”

Every hour that goes by, more unravels to the story, and it’s not the good news everyone has been praying for. All we can do is offer our condolences and we think once this has all been figured out, the media should respectfully give the Hudson family their privacy and let them deal with the case as they wish.

Sarah Palin will unlikely be given the chance to be taken seriously, especially out here in Southern California. As part of their Halloween decorations, a West Hollywood resident decided to show his left-wing support by hanging a mannequin resembling Sarah Palin with her trademark beehive hairdo and librarian glasses from the roof.

Directly above the noose, being roasted in the chimney, is Republican candidate John McCain with the hands holding his head as if in pain. Most on-lookers were really shocked by the effigy and called in complaints, but under the right of free speech, the homeowner gets to leave it up.

West Hollywood Spokeswoman Hellen Goss said,

“We have been getting some phone calls this morning complaining about it but if (the homeowner) isn’t in violation of municipal code we have no reason to cite them. People have First Amendment rights (to free speech). I would speculate that if it’s part of a Halloween display then its political satire.” - Reuters

Homeowner Chad Michael Morisette called his decorations “art” and didn’t feel bad about putting up the mannequins. He’s one of the few people that doesn’t really care what society thinks and is open on his beliefs. Hey, at least it was Obama hanging from the roof, then he would have had a problem.

Being friends with Hollywood elite like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes makes it seem like maybe he has a chance at becoming an overnight film sensation, but Becks doesn’t have that in mind. That sounds like a fun time, but does the conversation ever arise about converting to Scientology with Tom?

“I respect any person’s religion. Everybody’s got their own ideas, and, of course, Tom is a big believer in Scientology, but he’s never pushed anything on to us about it and he never will do. Friends don’t do that.”

Or so he thinks. Give it a little more time to warm up to the Cruises and next thing you know, you’ll be donating half of your estate to Scientology. It’s a crazy world out there in the Hollywood bubble, anything can happen.

High School Musical 3: Senior Year owned the box office this weekend coming in with more ticket sales than its gory competitor, Saw V.

The Disney romantic musical raked in $42 million in ticket sales for its first 3 days out to the public. This beat out Mamma Mia for opening records that only had $27.8 million, which if you saw it, you’d understand why.

Saw V came in second at the box office with $30.5 million, which is helping to make this the most successful horror franchise in history, even more than Friday the 13th. Every Saw movie since the original in 2004 has opened in October at number 1 in the box office, but has met it’s musical match this time.

Why did HSM 3 do so much better than Saw V? Simple, it is a family film that has a cult following of tweens to full-fledged adults. There’s no issue of being turned away because you’re too young and it has entertainment qualities, like song and dance and gorgeous teens, that make all the children jump and cheer for.

This has been the biggest grossing opening weekend for the film industry in 10 weeks, raking in a total of $120 million from the top 12 films in theaters.

Dirrty girl Christina Aguilera has made the choice to premiere her new music video for “Keeps Gettin’ Better” today, Monday the 27th, online rather than on TRL, which is being taken off-air.

iLike.com will be hosting the video for everyone to see as X-tina travels through time - and all the ‘appropriate’ costumes - up to present times.

The latest on the Jennifer Hudson tragedy:

Police have found the body of a young african-american in an SUV on Monday, but there has been no confirmation on the identity of the body. Investigators have been looking for Jennifer’s nephew, 7-year-old  Julian King, all weekend and looking for a ‘94 white Chevrolet Suburban.

Jennifer and family offered $100, 000 reward on Sunday for the safe return of the boy, who has been missing since Friday Oct. 24th, the day that 57-year-old Darnell Donerson and 29-year-old Jason Hudson were found shot in their home.

The Amber Alert listed William Balfour, the estranged husband of Julia Hudson, Jennifer’s sister, as a suspect in a “double homicide investigation.” Balfour is shot to the top of the suspects list since he is still on parole and spent 7 years in prison for attempted murder, vehicular hijacking and possesing a stolen vehicle.

It is unknown where Balfour is being held at this time, but he is going to remain in state custody until his case has thoroughly been looked at.

Watch out Britney Spears, you’re not the only one planning a big comeback. The former pop king of the world, Michael Jackson wants back in the limelight for something other than molestation trials.

Jackson is set to give a 30-date live tour around the globe, but it’s been 12 years since Mike’s last major tour and 7 years since his last album, Invincible, was released. I think we can all understand why it’s been such a long time since he’s been back in the studio.

Rumors have been circling that he is planning an Elvis-style comeback in Vegas, but according to Britain’s The Sun,

“Michael said he wasn’t doing a Vegas residency but was going on a world tour, taking in 30 cities next year. He said he wanted to do it for his kids. He wants them to see what he does, and he wants to take them on the road. He said he was on his way to Los Angeles to finalize the details.”

God, I hope he doesn’t make a mockery of himself again. I’m tired of the walking joke and want some good music again!

Britney Spears‘ appearance on Britain’s “Idol” competition, X-Factor will be taking place on November 29th.

The Sun confirmed that she will be performing on the show and is then to be expected in New York three days later to perform on Good Morning America on the launch day of the Circus album and Brit’s birthday. One hell of a day for her!

By December of this year, we will know if Britney is back in action or if her long-awaited comeback will be a bust. How exciting!

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama extended his heart to the Hudson family in their darkest days.

Mr. Obama, who had been an open Jennifer Hudson fan, even requesting her to sing the national anthem at the Democratic National Convention, issued a statement this Saturday:

“Michelle and I were absolutely heartbroken to learn about this unimaginable tragedy and we want Jennifer to know that she is in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. We also pray for the swift and safe return of her young nephew.” - People Magazine

Jennifer’s mother and brother were murdered and nephew kidnapped of Friday in their home in Chicago, IL. also the home city of Obama. But he wasn’t the only one to express their condolences. American Idol judge Randy Jackson was vocal about his feelings on the matter.

“My heart and soul goes out to her and the rest of her family. Such a huge tragedy – I can’t even believe that it’s possible. Paula Abdul and I were just talking about it yesterday and it’s just so sad.”

Beautifully spoken Mr. Jackson, right to the core.

Amy Winehouse is not in rehab, she’s just getting her chest infection taken care of. What a relief!

It’s very disheartening to know that someone with such a soultry, poised voice can’t share more of it because of a chest infection, let alone drug addiction. Ms. Winehouse was taken to The London Clinic on Saturday, Oct 25th, the same place she was admitted to for the drug problems earlier this year.

The visit to the clinic was more of a check up on her emphysema with precautionary scans that shouldn’t last longer than a couple of days. She’ll be back home soon on the road to a full recovery and a new record breaking album grabbing her multiple Grammys. Hey, it could happen.
