She writes,

I cannot say how important it is for everyone to get out there and vote tomorrow…The future of our country depends on it. Just one vote can make such a difference… Vote - because your thoughts are worth it..VOTE - because YOU can make this country a better place…VOTE - because you can.

It’s not exactly news that Lohan pretty much hates Sarah Palin for her strict views on gay rights, branding the Alaska Governor a “narrow-minded, media-obsessed homophobe”.

She urged fans to reject two controversial Californian initiatives: Proposition 8, which bans gay marriage; and Proposition 4, which requires parents to get 48 hours’ notice before doctors perform abortions on a minor.

Lohan ended her rant with a simple message, stating, “Obama for president :)”.

Charlize Theron gets a lot of the juicy roles in Hollywood, acting alongside some of the top actors in the world. This time Charlize is rumored as getting to play cops opposite Tom Cruise in The Tourist.

Theron is supposedly in negotiations to play the female Interpol agent using an American tourist as an accomplice to find the location of her once-great lover and elusive criminal. The film is an adaptation from the 2005 French thriller Anthony Zimmer, but it is still unclear as to what role Tom Cruise will be. Will he be the title role as the tourist, or will he have another chance to show off his evil side?

We know for sure, however, that Charlize’s role has been turned into a major badass, which is exciting to me, because I’ve always loved her in the action films. I even consider Mighty Joe Young to be one of her most exhilerating action pieces to this day. Now, with this intriguing new pairing of actors, it should be interesting to see how they play off each other in the genre given.

The Tourist is expected to start shooting in March once its final script is perfected.

Kate Winslet has had enough of the critics scrutinizing the weight and shape of her body.

Yesterday, the British Beauty revealed in Vanity Fair that she suffers from the “fat kid” syndrome, where she still harbors the insecurities of being overweight even though she’s not, but critics in her native land still insist that she is a fatty.

The five-time Oscar nominee is apparently fed up with these people trying to crush her image. The Sun is second guessing the fact that her photos were left untouched by the magic airbrush as well as the Daily Telegraph, which even went to the lengths of hiring a professional airbrush artist to dissect the photos of Kate. Why would anyone really care that much to prove her photos were edited? Get a life.

The star, who will be seen in Revolutionary Road this year, has been through this kind of media circus before. In early 2003, she posed for Britain’s GQ magazine which published digitally slimmed pictures that had her apologizing to everyone in just days of being released.

I just didn’t want people to think I was a hypocrite and that I’d suddenly lost 30 lbs. or whatever, so I just came out and said, ‘Look, I don’t look like that’. I’m not mad at the magazine, but I have no intention of looking like that.” -Kate Winslet (2003)

Kate is lucky enough to have a great rep to keep things under control. The rep has said of her legendary client,

She is in terrific shape and what you see is how she looks or she would never have agreed to pose for those shots. The only retouching was the usual work on skin tone that happens in every glamour shoot.”

I think the media should back off of Kate. It’s ridiculous to think that she’s being criticized for something as trivial as being airbrushed. Look at her work as an actress and judge her off that!

After a luxury watchmaker accused Charlize Theron of breaching her contract with them, and has been taken to court, the two parties have finally settled the$20 million lawsuit.

Swiss company Raymond Weil claimed they paid Theron to wear its watches exclusively between October 2005 and December 2006 and that she broke their agreement when she “was actually photographed wearing a watch from the Christian Dior line” at a press event in Austin, Texas on 14 March 2006.

In the following month (April 2008), Theron modeled a Montblanc watch on a billboard at a Swiss trade show.

Company executives added the violations “demonstrate a total disregard by (Theron) for any of her obligations under the agreement”.

Her lawyers have unsuccessfully attempted to get the case dismissed, and now are faced with the settlement. New court documents filed in Manhattan Federal Court reveal the suit will finalized within 30 days.

The detailed terms of the settlement, however, have not been disclosed.

Among all the reasons to love Heidi Klum, comes one of her dancing in her knickers.

To promote the new video game, ‘Guitar Hero: World Tour’, Heidi is seen in her rendition of the classic sliding across the floor scene from ‘Risky Business’ and she totally rocked it.

Halle Berry, what many consider an ideal of beauty, has revealed that she’s not very comfortable in her own skin and would like to spend the day inside another actress’ skin — namely Kate Winslet.

Berry, who was recently named the Sexiest Woman Alive by Esquire, would love the British star’s on-screen confidence.

Berry says,

Kate Winslet is always naked, sitting on a toilet, running buck-naked. She’s free. I want to be the kind of actress who can really be comfortable with my body like that.

Just goes to show you that no woman is every happy with the body she has…even Halle Berry. However, I side with her in the carefree spirit Winslet possess. It’s clear that she is a role model to all, even other stars, and her recent interview with Vanity Fair only confirms that.

She may not be the best singer, but thankfully, Rihanna has her gorgeous face and long legs to rely on if all goes to hell.

Fashion house Gucci’s has just announced that Rihanna will be the spokeswoman for a new campaign for The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

She will front the Italian designer’s Tattoo Heart range of products and 25% of all profits made from the line will be donated to the charity.

Explaining why they chose the singer, Gucci creative director Frida Giannini said her “strong personality” was a good fit for the cause, because “a musician and a beautiful woman was the perfect icon for this campaign”.

The LA Times was outside the courtroom yesterday as the jury deliberated on wether or not a brazilian paparazzo was going to get awarded over $700,000 in damages from The Matrix star for “hitting” him with his car back in March 2007. You are already familiar with the story, as we reported it earlier here from yesterday and here from a while ago. Below you’ll see video of Alison Silva giving comments following the trial, saying how he’s a big fan of Keanu and how he has nothing against him and how he would continue shooting video of the star.

What’s funny to me is I can’t even imagine how frustrated Keanu Reeves must have been throughout this entire journey. Anyone who’s familiar with Keanu’s history know that he’s been called one of the loneliest men in Hollywood due to the horrible things that he’s had to endure, losing friends and loved ones over and over infront of the eyes of the media. Out of every celebrity that is out there, I believe it really sucks that Keanu had to deal with this, and even spend the money to defend himself.

On the other hand, the Brazilian paparazzo is now left with a five figure debt under his name for medical bills and a shattered ego that won’t be repaired anytime soon. This trial showed that the system this country has put together in a democracy can be used and abused by anyone thinking they can make a quick buck out of drama. Good thing the jury knew better. The guy had so many conflicting stories and tales that just did not make sense. Now he’s going to have to spend a good couple of years shooting Miley Cyrus in order to pay for his bills.

Let’s just hope he doesn’t sue her when she hits him with her bicycle.

Finally, a video posted on Youtube shows Alison Silva partying and dancing with paparazzi friends on November 3rd. Looks like he moved on quite quickly.

The end of a dark period in the life of Jennifer Hudson came yesterday at the private memorial service for her family where Fantasia Barrino offered her voice to help sooth the event.

It was said to be the “emotional crescendo” of the service when former “Idol” winner Barrino sang “Your Grace and Mercy” to the private gathering. A family friend of Jennifer’s stated,

I think it healed Jennifer’s soul just then.”

Also in attendance was Oprah, Queen Latifah, Clive Davis, and Missy Elliot to lend their condolences at the private memorial service in Chicago.

I hope this will conclude the media’s coverage on the Hudson Family and will give them their privacy to heal.
