Jennifer Lopez is one business-savvy lady! First, her production company sold a pilot to ABC, and now she’s signed a two-year contract with NBC Universal.

J. Lo’s company, Nuyorican Productions signed a two-year, first-look TV development deal with Universal Media Studios, which is the primary supplier of scripted shows, that has co-chairman Ben Silverman very happy.

Jennifer Lopez is a multifaceted superstar and we are thrilled to be in business with her. NBC has been fortunate to have worked with her previously with her music specials, and now this first-look deal gives us an opportunity to explore a variety of projects which will result in some outstanding television.”

Well, Jennifer will be dominating the stations now, and doesn’t even have to be in the shows. The ABC pilot that just got picked up is a J. Lo original, Maid in Manhattan. Yeah… I felt a little cheated when I heard that’s all she could come up with.

I hope this merging with NBC Universal will bring a lot of original ideas to the network and they can live up to their word for some outstanding television!

Fresh from her marriage to Guy Richie, Madonna sneaks away for a retreat at Jerry Seinfeld’s Hampton estate with NY Yankee Alex Rodriguez.

It was their secret attempt to get away from the world, but talk about an expensive four hour hideout. The New York Post claims that A-rod and Madge-the-Vadge arrived in separate helicopters, at separate times and were taken back to the 12-acre Seinfeld estate by Jerry and his Porsches.

The Seinfelds and Madonna have been friends for quite some time now, since they are neighbors out on the west coast.

So Madonna just separated from her husband, found another young man to take under her wing, and wasted a shitload of fuel for four hours of God knows what. What happened to her children during all this?

Even though Ashley Olsen rose to fame playing Michelle in ‘Full House’. with twin sister Mary-Kate, she is determined to steer her own kids away from acting.

Pink recently made some hasty comments about John Mayer, leading Jennifer Aniston to believe that she called her “stupid” during a conversation with the Friends’ star former boyfriend.

In that interview, Pink revealed,

I got into an argument with him. He said something along the lines of, ‘I only s**g really stupid women’, and I said, ‘I guess they would have to be.’ I don’t get him and Jennifer at all.

Naturally, this would piss of any woman, especially Jennifer, who now reportedly ordered her friends not to speak to the singer.

She’s livid that Pink would suggest she’s stupid like that in public. Jen’s a clever girl and she can’t believe her intelligence is being called into question. But Pink was actually defending Jennifer – John infuriated her by talking about women like that. Jennifer has already made it quite clear that Pink is to be blacklisted among her circle.

This is Jen, she never voices her feelings to people’s faces. Pink, however, is a different story.

In spirit of Halloween, Forbes has complied a list of places in Hollywood that are great for ghost hunting. Brace yourself, people. This is some freaky stuff.

The Hollywood Sign

Many suicides off the famous Hollywood sign have taken place over the decades. “The ghosts of the dead are said to roam the woods surrounding the sign. Most famous is the ghost of Welsh actress Peg Entwistle. Depressed by her lack of career success, she decided to take her own life by jumping from the “H” in the sign. Ironically, Entwistle found fame after death, making headlines across America as “The Hollywood Sign Girl.” There have been many reports of a pretty, but very sad, blonde dressed in 1930s clothing wandering aimlessly around the sign.”

Hollywood Forever Cementery

“Previously named Hollywood Memorial Park Cemetery, the Hollywood Forever Cemetery is the resting (and haunting) place of many stars of the silver screen. One famous phantom is early 20th century newspaper mogul William Randolph Hearst who is said to visit the grave of his mistress, Marion Davies. Culver Studios

“Stagehands have reported seeing a ghostly figure who looks like silent filmmaker Thomas Ince roaming the catwalks of Culver Studios. Ince died on William Randolph Hearst’s yacht, Oneida, supposedly from indigestion, although some claim he was actually shot by Hearst. Hearst supposedly mistook Ince for the comedian Charlie Chaplin, whom he thought was having an affair with his sweetheart, actress Marion Davies.”

It seems like Hugh Grant vanished from the industry after his film Music and Lyrics released on Valentine’s Day of ‘07, but he’s rumored for a comeback along side Sarah Jessica Parker

Grant and the Sex and the City star are said to be in negotiations with Columbia Pictures for a new romantic comedy from writer-director Marc Lawrence, of Two Weeks Notice and Music and Lyrics.

These two stars would make a pretty cute couple! The untitled project will have the couple, who’s relationship is on the rocks, relocate from New York to Wyoming after they witness a murder and must go into the witness protection program.

If everything goes according to plan, the film will begin production in March. I hope SJP and Hugh Grant have a great connection. They both are so friggin charming separately, so this could end up to be a great project, assuming the script is well-written.

Back in  January of this year, a couple sold video footage of Amy Winehouse allegedly smoking crack cocaine to the Sun. Now, John Blagrove and Cara Burton have pleaded guilty to drugs charges.

At a hearing in London on Friday, the two lovebirds admitted to offering to supply illegal substances, including cocaine and ecstasy, to Wino. They did this in order to secretly film the singer and then bank off of her terrible addiction.

Police investigating the incident subsequently decided there was not enough evidence to charge Winehouse.
The judge overseeing the case, however,  has ordered the pair to return to court on November 28th for sentencing.
