June 9th, 2008. Los Angeles, CA. It’s nice to see a talented actor be completely down-to-earth and humble when it comes to his fans. Tony Shalhoub was busy on set for Monk, not acting like you’d think he would, but giving back to his fans. Here you can see Tony as he gives a little boy his autograph and hug as the boy’s dad takes a picture.
It’s true that Tony isn’t the best looking actor out there, we’re pretty sure he knows this too, so that could be part of the reason he is so humble. Or maybe it’s cause his mama would smack the sh*t out of him if he treated his fans like little peasants. Whether it’s his family background or less-attractive looks, he’s a good guy and deserves the career he has today.

Less attractive to whom?? Who wrote this article that speaks as though they are the guardian of the orb as to who finds who attractive and what we viewers/fans find attractive? This information comes as a complete surprise to all of us out here drooling over Tony Shalhoub. I just love when Hollywood and media think they know what attractive is, and that everyone likes the same thing. I personally don’t go for pretty boy, plastic leading man types that are constantly shoved down our throats. Tony’s a sharp looking man. If he wasn’t married, I’d crawl over a pile of dead bodies just to get within 10 feet of his smile. Less attractive? Oh bite me.

So, just because he´s a good guy he has a nice carrer? And because you infer he thinks he´s not good looking he is humble? Sorry, pal, but I believe you should go back to te cave you came out from or just be updated on what REAL people think about hansdsome, attractive and competent actors!
