Miramax Films is getting ready to start a new production starring a powerhouse cast including Robert De Niro, Drew Barrymore, Kate Beckinsale and Sam Rockwell.
Directed and written by Kirk Jones, “Everybody’s Fine” has just received its rights and is good to start shooting in Connecticut later this month.
The film is a remake of the Giuseppe Tornatore film, “Stanno Tutti Bene,” where De Niro will play a widower who loses his connection with his kids after his wife dies. When he decides to randomly take his grown kids on a road trip to reconnect with them, he discovers how imperfect their lives really are. Sounds depressing
Producing the feature are Gianni Nunnari, Ted Field, Vittorio Cecchi Gori and Glynis Murray. Executive producers include Craig Flores, Callum Greene and Mike Weber.
