Well doesn’t that suck for George Clooney. Here was this new comedy getting really good publicity, but then it wasn’t strong enough to beat a previously released drama. Poor guy

Oh well, cheer up champ, we can’t always bring our A-game. The box office reports that Leatherheads raked in a measely $13.5 million. I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but when you compare it to the $58 million budget, and opening weekend makes the most revenue, it’s a sad thought.

21 received $15.1 million this weekend and was back at the top for a second week in a row. I really like Black Jack and Kevin Spacey, so I’m glad it’s still up there.

Nim’s Island came in 3rd with $13.3 million.
