Guess who’s getting a shotgun wedding? That’s right, new parents, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. I thank God every night that Nicole was the one who got knocked up by Joel, and not Hilary Duff. Think of what it would be like had it been Hilary… weird.

Ok! Magazine gave us an insight to what the couple is about to do next in life. Turns out it will be the mail… they have to send out their invitations, of course! But as for the date, all we know is sometime in the summer. I mean that makes sense, Nicole freezes in any temperature under 60, so this way she can participate. Smart thinkin!

Nicole is going to have eight bridesmaids, but there’s no word if Paris made the cut. This could be another possible feud if she doesn’t. They could center The Simple Life 5 around it. Everything else about the wedding has, for the most part, been planned except for what the “rocker” family will be wearing.

I just have to wonder if they are really doing this because they are in love, or because they had a girl, Harlow, together and think it’s the right thing to do. They seem happy so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, but you can never really tell with hollywood couples.
