Tom Cruise was spotted on the set of the J.J. Abrams project, Star Trek.

Tommy boy is quite the hidden nerd. A source says, “Tom visited the set of the movie and chatted with J.J. Abrams. He asked J.J. if there’s a way he can meet Leonard Nimoy. He said he’d always really respected his work”

But don’t get your hopes up to see him in the film. It turns out he only went to set to visit J.J. like a good pal, not for any movie contract. But he really is a big Nimoy fan and is still a closet nerd.
